BCM is a leading surface mining and civil earthworks contractor based in Ghana, with a strong legacy of over 100 years in the industry. Originally founded as “Bayswater Contracting” in Western Australia during the early 1920s. By 1990, BCM has firmly positioned itself in West Africa as a trusted partner in earthworks and surface mining, becoming one of the most experienced contractors in the mining sector.
Our portfolio shows completed projects in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Guinea, Tanzania, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. BCM is currently working on a large-scale operation in Jordan. The successful delivery of such numerous projects spanning continents, demonstrate our expertise and commitment to excellence.
Our workforce is a key driver of our success, comprising of skilled and dedicated team of both expatriate and national employees who have been with us for over 10 years, nurtured from apprentices into highly valued professionals. This longstanding loyalty and expertise are integral to upholding our commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality, and service. We are proud of achieving 10 million manhours with No Lost Time Injuries and being ISO certified for our mining and civil construction services.
