Accra, Ghana – 9 July 2025 – BCM Ghana strongly refutes recent media reports suggesting its unwillingness to engage in dialogue with regards to end-of-service benefits with its former Tarkwa employees. These reports misrepresent the facts and risk undermining ongoing efforts toward a fair and lawful resolution.

BCM Ghana acknowledges the concerns raised by its former employees and union representatives and affirms that it remains actively engaged in dialogue with the principal client, Gold Fields Ghana, under whose operational framework the employment arrangements were governed. The company is committed to finding a resolution.
